The body that was pulled from the Detroit River Wednesday is that of missing University of Windsor student, Windsor Police confirm Friday.

The body was positively identified as 18-year-old Victoria Strehlau. A post mortem examination showed no signs of foul play involved, said police.

Victoria was last seen on Monday October 14th in Walkerville.  Her bike was found at Riverside and Hall on Tuesday, October 15th. The OPP Dive team had already searched the area but hadn’t found anything.

After a passerby saw something in the water Wednesday evening, police were called back to the river. The police boat was called in and Victoria’s body was recovered.
